Indiana Republican Party Platform Committee Sets Hearing Dates

This month, the Platform Committee responsible for writing the Indiana Republican Party platform will hold three hearings for the public to weigh in on the platform.

Currently, the platform includes language stating that “strong families, based on marriage between a man and a woman, are the foundation of society.”

We believe this language is divisive as there are many types of families and no type of family should be valued more than any other kind of family.

We need as many people as possible to attend the meetings and ask the committee to remove the divisive language from the platform.
