The Republican Party was founded on the principles of free trade, free markets and individual liberty.
But somewhere along the way, our Party’s focus shifted. It turned away from these ideas and, at times, directly opposes them. We need to return to our roots.
And, as Mitch Daniels once said, we need to aim higher. We need to be the Party of Purpose, telling voters what we are for instead of just who and what we are against. We need more leaders who will develop substantive ideas and a return to the idea that good policy is good politics.
This change in direction will not happen overnight or by accident. It will require deliberate action from individuals within our Party. That is why we have started the Free Enterprise Indiana PAC.
We will recruit the next generation of Hoosier Republican leaders. And, we will support candidates and elected officials who promote a fiscally responsible government focused on individual freedom and pro-growth economic policies.
Free Enterprise Indiana PAC is chaired by Bill Oesterle, Campaign Manager for Mitch Daniels’ 2004 Gubernatorial Campaign and founder of the Governor Bob Orr Entrepreneurial Fellowship.
